Enhanced Player Pathway Program "EP3"

The Scotch Plains Fanwood Soccer Club (SPFSC) Enhanced Player Pathway Program (“EP3”) is the top level of our two Select (tryouts required) Program offerings. EP3 is an academy-style program comprised of teams that compete against clubs and academies within the region playing at the highest levels of soccer. 

EP3 is designed for players that are fully committed to competitive soccer as it is a three season commitment -  Fall, Winter and Spring.  There are two training sessions per week at U9 and U10, and three training sessions per week thereafter. EP3 equips players with the tools and competencies necessary to increase the possibility of extending such players’ soccer careers beyond the youth programs.

Our EP3 teams follow the US Youth Soccer Pathway playing in EDP Futures (U8-U10), EDP League (U11-U18), Mid Atlantic Conference (U13-U18) or USYS National League (U15-U18). EP3 offers players an advanced level of training, strength and conditioning sessions, game analyses,  individual player development plans and access to Playermaker technology, which allows players to track, monitor, compare, share, and benchmark their performance metrics, enabling them to continuously improve their game. Select EP3 players will also have the opportunity to participate with  NJ Nationals FC.

In addition to participating in local tournaments, EP3 teams may also compete in out-of-state tournaments such as the Hershey Summer Classic or the Disney Memorial Day Tournament. These tournaments not only offer high quality play, but also take place in locations where players will have an opportunity to bond on a deeper level as a team.

EP3 Tryouts, which are open to all players, are held annually in early Spring. ID Sessions are also offered throughout the year.
