SPFSC Coordinator – Job Description
SPFSC Coordinator – Scotch Plains Fanwood Soccer Club in Scotch Plains, NJ, seeks an Office Administrator/Coordinator responsible to the President of the Club. Position requires excellent computer / Internet skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office, and general ability to navigate multiple websites. A knowledge of TeamSnap and Quickbooks is a benefit, but the willingness and ability to learn is more important.
The successful candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, should be proficient in email, have good digital file/folder management skills, and must be comfortable answering a variety of questions in dealing with parents, Club Officers, Regulating Bodies, and External Vendors. Most interaction will happen through email, however, phone calls and rare in-person events are included in the role.
A strict level of confidentiality is required, and a background check will be conducted. The position starts with 10 hours per week, but will grow over time, and is subject to fluctuation during our busy seasons. This role is a 1099 position only (no W2). Candidates should be prepared to start immediately.
