2026 Winter Futsal Programs
Our winter programs offer players a chance to experience Futsal. Futsal, is a variation of the game of soccer, typically played on hard floors with a smaller heavier ball. The purpose of Futsal for us is to provide a game that teaches technique and ball manipulation. Players are encouraged to be more creative and develop confidence keeping possession of the ball.
All players should wear shin guards and futsal shoes are recommended over sneakers.

Junior Recreation Winter Training U4, U5 & U6
All of our sessions will be led by our professional trainers and will consist of FUN interactive games designed to teach the FUNdamentals of soccer. Our young players will learn how to dribble, pass and how to score goals while fostering a love for the game and socializing with teammates. Each session will finish with small-sided scrimmages designed to enhance a discovery-based learning experience for all.
Sessions will be held at Wardlaw and Hartridge School in Edison (1295 Inman Ave, Edison, NJ 08820) just a few short minutes from Scotch Plains/Fanwood.
Sunday's: 1/4, 1/11, 1/18, 1/25, 2/1, 2/15, 2/22, 3/1 (No session Feb. 8 and make up if needed on 3/8)

Futures Futsal Training Program
The SPFSC Futures Futsal program provides a high-tempo, skill-focused environment designed to accelerate technical development in young players. Through structured, fast-paced sessions, players will improve ball control, footwork, and decision-making under pressure. This program offers the ideal balance of challenge and enjoyment, helping players build a strong technical foundation as they prepare for the next level of play.

Playing futsal is a fantastic way for young soccer players to enhance their skills while having a blast. Each of our 1-hour sessions will begin with ball mastery skills and finish with exciting scrimmages. The fast-paced and challenging environment encourages players to improve their decision-making skills and gain more touches on the ball. The small playing area naturally enhances speed of play, allowing players to think quickly and react faster. Most importantly, the fun and engaging atmosphere ensures that every player enjoys their experience developing essential skills that will benefit their outdoor soccer game.

Senior Recreation Futsal Training Program U11 - U13

Ideal for players aiming to refine their skills and stay game-ready during the winter months.
Sessions will be held on the rink at Inman Sports Complex, 2 Villa Drive, Edison NJ just a few short minutes from Fanwood/Scotch Plains.
